Bo Ryan is an American basketball coach with a net worth of $8’000’000. He is currently the head coach of the Badgers basketball team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has held this post since 2001. Ryan was previously the men’s basketball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 1984-to 1999 and served as a coach at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1999-to 2001. In each of Ryan’s twelve seasons, The Badgers have appeared in The NCAA tournament and have advanced to The Sweet 16 five times, including The Elite Eight in 2005. Ryan is one of only three coaches to lead his team to the Big Dance In each of his first twelve seasons at one school. The Badgers have never finished outside the top four of the Big Ten championship With Ryan as chief. Under Ryan’s leadership at the University of Wisconsin-madison, four of his former assistant coaches moved on to take over Division I coaching positions, and five former players have also moved to assistant coaching positions. During the 2014 NCAA Tournament, Ryan earned his 700th victory During an 8357 win over Minnesota and also reached his first Division I Final Four with a 6463 overtime win over Arizona. He has written three books: Bo Ryan: Another Hill to Climb, The Swing Offense, and Passing and Catching: The Lost Art. Ryan was born in December 1947 near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia. He attended Wilkes University, where He served as a high-scoring guard and earned a BS degree in 1969.
